Mission Statement
Our Mission is to provide a homeschool hybrid learning community where children can thrive in a natural, mixed age Montessori environment. We foster independence, a lifelong love of learning, and a deep connection to the natural world. Our cooperative model empowers families to play an active role in their child’s educational journey while creating a supportive community where every member is valued.

Bio
Kate is a Certified Montessori Educator and Florida Native who calls South Tampa her home along with her daughter Ella and dog Penny. She fell in love with teaching young minds and the Montessori Method while pursuing her secondary education at Florida State University. She later moved to the Tampa Bay Area and has been calling this little slice of paradise home ever since. She has been teaching in the Carrollwood area for the last 9 years. She established Sandhill Montessori in 2025 with like minded families after not being able to find the community and family based educational option she was passionate about providing in other Tampa Bay Area programs.
Why Choose Sandhill Montessori?
We offer flexible learning paths in mixed age classrooms. Our Hybrid Homeschool Program offers parent-led and educator supported learning, with flexible days and half day options, during our four day school week. Explore Montessori rooted learning, in a nature grounded, secular program. All while finding a sense of community and a long term love of learning at Sandhill Montessori.
